1. GENERAL TERMS

Studiotec.fi is a marketplace maintained by Studiotec Oy, where the goods are sold by Studiotec Oy, Espoo (Y: 03694343). The following terms and conditions apply to the business relationship between Studiotec Oy and its customers.

Studiotec Oy reserves the right to change these terms and conditions by unilateral decision without prior notice. Orders are subject to the terms of the contract valid at the time of the order, which appear on Studiotec Oy's website. Changes in the law enter into force immediately as such, unless otherwise stipulated in the law.

Studiotec Oy is not responsible for damage caused by force majeure. A force majeure is considered to be an unforeseen circumstance or a change in circumstances that is beyond Studiotec Oy's influence and which Studiotec Oy cannot reasonably overcome. Studiotec Oy is obliged to notify the Customer as soon as possible of the force majeure that has confronted it.



2. CUSTOMER

Studiotec Oy sells products and services to its resellers as well as to corporate, public administration and community customers (hereinafter corporate customers) who acquire merchandise for professional use.

In the sales contract between corporate customers and Studiotec Oy, the Finnish Commercial Code applies, unless otherwise stipulated in these contract terms.

When placing an order, the customer is obliged to provide their complete contact information, which are: contact person's name, phone number and email as well as social security number, postal address, phone number or numbers and, if necessary, billing address.

Delivery time estimates have been prepared based on information provided by importers and manufacturers. Studiotec Oy or the suppliers it uses are not responsible for delays caused by unforeseen changes coming from outside their sphere of influence. The binding sales contract enters into force after the order is registered in Studiotec Oy's system.

Data protection: Customer information is stored in Studiotec Oy's customer register, where the information is used to maintain and manage the customer relationship. In addition, Studiotec Oy and the companies belonging to the same group as it have the right to process and hand over the data in the register for justified purposes (such as direct marketing) in accordance with the Personal Data Act (523/99). The Register statement according to the Personal Data Act can be viewed at Studiotec Oy, Teollisuuskatu 21, 00510 Helsinki. The customer can prohibit the use and processing of his data for marketing purposes and check the data about himself by contacting Studiotec Oy's customer service. Contacts must be made in writing and delivered signed to the address: Studiotec Oy, Kuusiniemi 2, 02710 Espoo. Use of cookies: The Studiotec Oy website uses cookies, which can be used to further develop the website to be more user-friendly than before. The purpose of cookies on the Studiotec Oy website is to facilitate, improve and speed up the transaction experience. Cookies can also be used to offer better offers and more personalized product recommendations to the customer. A cookie is a small text file that Studiotec Oy's web server stores on the user's hard drive. Part of the content of the Studiotec Oy website may require the acceptance of cookies in order to function. The user's web browser probably accepts cookies with ready-made default settings, but the user can also prevent the use of cookies from the browser settings, or by deleting cookies from the browser after using the service. 3. PRODUCTS AND PRICE LIST

The prices in our store are VAT 0%, but on the invoice they include VAT. Delivery costs are not included in the prices, unless otherwise stated. If there are clear price errors in the price list, the product will not be sold at a clearly lower price if it can be assumed that the customer has understood the existence of the error.

If the price of the product increases before the shipment is processed, the products ordered at Studiotec Oy will be delivered at the original price. If changes are made to the order, the price of the product will be determined according to the price at the time of the change. When the price drops, we automatically deliver the product at a new, lower price.

Studiotec Oy reserves the right to limit the sale of products in exceptionally large batches. Studiotec Oy does not sell its products for resale, other than to resellers who have signed an agreement.

No unilateral right of cancellation is granted for products manufactured, ordered or modified at the customer's request. In the event of cancellation, any costs incurred by the order will be charged in full to the buyer.

Products and services are always sold as they are. This refers to the sale of used discount products. (Consumer Protection Act, Chapter 5, § 14)

4. PAYMENT METHODS

An up-to-date list of payment methods can be found on the Studiotec Oy website at www.Studiotec.fi. Some of the payment methods require registration as a customer in the Studiotec Oy customer register.
Business customers have the opportunity to apply for an invoicing account, our business salespeople help in setting up an account. More information about payment methods on our website and by email at sales@studiotec.fi

5. DELIVERY METHODS

You can find more information about Studiotec Oy's delivery methods at www.Studiotec.fi. Delivery costs vary depending on the delivery method and can be seen when placing the order.

Delivery prices The shopping cart automatically considers transport offers when placing an order. Cash on delivery is always charged for cash on delivery orders.

The order processing time is on average 2-5 working days after sending the automatic order confirmation. The transport time is usually 1-2 business days. A ready order means an order in which all the products are in our warehouse and reserved for the order, and the payment method of the order has been approved.

Studiotec Oy is not obliged to reserve other products of the same order for the customer, if the availability of one product is poor, or its delivery is delayed for reasons beyond Studiotec Oy's control. Alternatively, the customer can accept either delayed delivery of the product or cancellation of the order. Postal costs for post-delivery are charged normally. The products in the order are reserved for a maximum of 7 days, after which the order is canceled unless the customer has agreed to subsequent delivery in accordance with Studiotec Oy's terms and conditions.

The customer is obliged to inspect the shipment within 14 days and familiarize himself with the product's instructions for use and conditions before use.

6. RIGHT OF RETURN

For normal stock products ordered by business customers, Studiotec Oy grants a limited 7-day right of return. The returned product must be unused and in the unopened sales packaging. The product can be returned directly to our warehouse. For more information about returns, contact Sales@Studiotec.fi. The right of return does not apply to products worth more than 1,000 euros, orders worth more than 2,000 euros, or products ordered/customized separately for the customer. In addition, in the case of a maintenance extension or other separate service ordered for the customer, the business customer does not have the right to cancel after the order has been registered in Studiotec Oy's system.

Studiotec Oy Oy reserves the right to collect the costs from the customer if the customer return is made without reason or in violation of the terms of the contract. Studiotec Oy's handling and mailing costs are charged to the customer.

The employees of Studiotec Oy have the right to make separate written agreements with customers about different return conditions. The information must be clearly recorded on the receipt.

Hygiene and intimate products do not have the right of return after opening the package, because the product cannot be returned for sale due to its nature. Hygiene and intimate products include, for example, headphones.

Customer returns and service deliveries must always be sent by postal customer return. The form of delivery must be a package, as there is no tracking for letters. According to the return or service delivery, a completely filled out Studiotec Oy return form must be submitted.
The customer is obliged to keep the necessary copies of the return documents. The parcel shipment tracking number obtained from Posti's customer return is the only way to prove shipment.
The customer must contact Studiotec Oy's service department before overseas returns/service deliveries.

Packing is the responsibility of the sender. The products must be packed carefully so that the products are not damaged during transport. At least 10 cm of padding should be placed around the products. Studiotec Oy recommends always using the product's original packaging, which the manufacturer has designed for safe transportation of the product.

Studiotec Oy is not responsible for damage to returns packed negligently and contrary to the terms of the contract. The costs caused by an error on the part of the customer will be charged to the customer.

7. WARRANTY AND DEFECT LIABILITY

The warranty is determined in accordance with the warranty conditions defined by the manufacturer. The buyer is obliged to familiarize himself with the warranty conditions supplied with the product before using the product. The warranty conditions can be found in the user manual, a separate warranty form or at the web address provided by the manufacturer.

Studiotec Oy reserves the right to verify the errors reported in the products. Testing is not performed while waiting. Always allow 3-5 business days for this.

The service location is determined according to the manufacturer's or importer's warranty conditions. Studiotec Oy directs its customers to directly contact the seller of the product, who handles the product at an authorized service shop. The consumer also has the option of delivering our imported product for maintenance through Studiotec Oy. Studiotec Oy considers that when the customer delivers the product for repair via our service, the service time is longer than the time spent on logistics.

Estimated maintenance time in the maintenance process performed in Finland is 10-15 business days. Some of the products sold at Studiotec Oy have to be shipped abroad for service, because there is no service authorized by the manufacturer in Finland. In this case, the estimated maintenance process is 10-20 business days.

The costs of an unnecessary service visit will be charged in full from the buyer if the product has been delivered for warranty service without a clear reason. Studiotec Oy is not responsible for damages caused by the buyer's actions. Studiotec Oy retains the right to check the nature and quality of the defect in the product even in connection with the cancellation of the sale. The possible costs of the maintenance company, Studiotec Oy's processing costs and logistical costs are charged as costs of unnecessary maintenance.

A fee according to the price list is charged for fault finding of the equipment assembled by the buyer or a third party, if the fault is not in the component supplied by Studiotec Oy. A compatibility problem is not considered an error, unless the customer has explicitly informed Studiotec Oy of the need for compatibility at the time of purchase. The acquisition, installation and use of computer components require skills comparable to the skills of a computer installer.

Physically opening the product to modify the device ends the warranty and the liability for errors defined by law, unless the manufacturer has stated otherwise.

Our service will keep the products for three (3) months after the notification delivered to the customer about the completion of the service/work. The product is then recycled. (Act on the trader's right to sell an object left uncollected)

Liability for digital recordings is always determined according to risk liability. Studiotec Oy is not responsible for data or software stored on digital media, as the risk lies with the customer. Backup is the buyer's responsibility. The backup should always be performed before the maintenance process. Saving files from a damaged device is an additional paid service.

8. COMPLAINT

The customer is obliged to present a proof of purchase, receipt or other proof of the place and time of purchase when returning or complaining about a product defect. Studiotec Oy reserves the right to collect the costs caused by the search for the receipt from the buyer.

Complaints are processed only in writing. You can submit a free-form complaint either by email to Studiotec@Studiotec.fi or by letter to the Espoo office. The website has the option to leave customer feedback or fill out a complaint form.

The complaints staff works directly under the management team. If necessary, the staff consults with the management in handling the complaint sent by the customer. The warehouse staff does not handle complaints.

Resolution of disputes and venue: The consumer customer has the right to submit disputes arising from this contract to the Consumer Disputes Board. The customer can file a lawsuit against Studiotec Oy regarding disputes arising from this debt relationship either in the district court of Studiotec Oy's domicile or in the district court of the place in Finland in which he has his place of residence. If the Customer does not have a place of residence in Finland, disputes will be handled in the district court of Studiotec Oy's domicile.

Attorney fees are not reimbursed because the Consumer Advice and Consumer Disputes Board offers free help in resolving disputes.

9. ALLOCATION OF RESPONSIBILITY IN A BUSINESS DEAL

Products and services are always sold as they are. Studiotec Oy is not responsible for indirect or direct expenses caused by errors and/or use of products or services, nor for loss of income. Studiotec Oy's liability for compensation is always limited to the content of these terms and conditions. Product defect liability is limited to a possible return of the purchase price minus the utility.
The warranty period of a device purchased for business use is determined in accordance with the manufacturer's warranty terms, and Studiotec Oy's liability ends when the warranty period expires. Physically opening the product to modify the device ends the warranty and the seller's responsibility, unless the manufacturer has stated otherwise.

Studiotec Oy reserves the right to direct business customers to deal directly with the manufacturer or a service shop authorized by the manufacturer. More information about maintenance can be requested from Studiotec Oy's maintenance.
Data and software stored on digital media are the responsibility of the end user. The customer is responsible for maintaining backups. Saving files after product damage is an additional paid service.

Our service will keep the products for three (3) months after the notification delivered to the customer about the completion of the service/work. The product is then recycled.
Studiotec Oy is not obliged to fulfill the contract if it encounters a force majeure that it cannot reasonably overcome. Studiotec Oy is not obliged to compensate the customer for damage or costs incurred by the customer in case of force majeure, and is entitled to cancel the contract.

By placing an order and/or request for a quote, the customer unquestionably accepts Studiotec Oy's terms and conditions. Any procurement contract terms used by the customer will not be followed if they conflict with Studiotec Oy's contract terms.

10. RECYCLING

Studiotec Oy accepts consumer electronics and household appliances for recycling. You can have the products recycled by bringing the product to Studiotec Oy's service point. Studiotec Oy is a member of the Nordic Electronics Recycling Association (Nera).

If necessary, Studiotec Oy's maintenance will provide further instructions for recycling the product. Product prices include recycling fees.

Studiotec Oy is not obliged to fulfill the contract if it encounters a force majeure that it cannot reasonably overcome. Studiotec Oy is not obliged to compensate the customer for damage or costs incurred by the customer in case of force majeure, and is entitled to cancel the contract.

By placing an order and/or request for a quote, the customer unquestionably accepts Studiotec Oy's terms and conditions. Any procurement contract terms used by the customer will not be followed if they conflict with Studiotec Oy's contract terms.

10. RECYCLING

Studiotec Oy accepts consumer electronics and household appliances for recycling. You can have the products recycled by bringing the product to Studiotec Oy's service point. Studiotec Oy is a member of the Nordic Electronics Recycling Association (Nera).

If necessary, Studiotec Oy's maintenance will provide further instructions for recycling the product. Product prices include recycling fees.
