1. General Terms

shop.studiotec.fi is an online marketplace operated by Studiotec Oy (Business ID 0369434-3, Espoo), where Studiotec Oy is the seller of products and services. These terms and conditions apply to the commercial relationship between Studiotec Oy and its corporate customers.

This agreement is governed by Finnish law, in particular the Finnish Sale of Goods Act (355/1987), unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing between the parties.

By placing an order, the customer accepts these terms. If the customer presents terms that conflict with these conditions when ordering, these terms shall prevail unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Studiotec Oy reserves the right to unilaterally amend these terms. The terms in force at the time of order shall apply.
Studiotec Oy is not liable for force majeure events beyond its reasonable control. Any such event must, however, be communicated to the customer without delay.

2. Customer and Data Protection

Studiotec Oy sells products and services to companies, organizations, and public sector entities.
The customer must provide correct and complete information for the order (contact person’s name, phone number, e-mail, business ID, delivery and billing address).

Customer data is processed in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The up-to-date privacy notice is available on Studiotec Oy’s website.

Customers may prohibit the use of their data for marketing purposes by notifying Studiotec Oy in writing by e-mail at tietosuoja@studiotec.fi or by post at Studiotec Oy, Kuusiniemi 2, 02710 Espoo.
The website uses cookies to deliver and improve the service.

3. Products and Prices

Prices are quoted excluding VAT (0%). On invoices and receipts, prices include VAT at the applicable rate.

Delivery and packaging costs are added to the prices unless otherwise agreed. The minimum delivery and packaging charge is €20 (VAT 0%), unless otherwise agreed.

For orders under €200 (VAT 0%), a small order surcharge of €12.10 (VAT 0%) is applied.
Studiotec Oy reserves the right to change prices and product range. If there is an obvious pricing error in the price list or webstore, e.g. a price significantly below the actual market value, Studiotec Oy is not obliged to deliver the product at the erroneous price.
Products and services are sold for professional use. The customer is responsible for installation, commissioning, and the necessary expertise for use.

4. Payment Terms

Corporate customers may apply for invoicing terms subject to a separate approval process. Payment terms and credit limits are agreed case by case.

For late payments, interest on arrears is charged in accordance with the Finnish Interest Act (633/1982), along with collection costs.
For non-invoicing customers, deliveries require advance payment, bank transfer, or credit card payment.
Ownership of the goods passes to the customer only once the purchase price has been paid in full.

5. Delivery Terms

The delivery method is agreed upon when placing the order. Delivery and packaging charges apply as described in section 3.
The average order processing time is 2–5 working days from the order confirmation.
The customer must check the delivery without delay after receipt and report any errors or deficiencies in writing within seven (7) days of receipt.
Ownership of the goods passes when the purchase price has been paid in full. Risk of loss transfers at the time of delivery.
If delivery is delayed by more than three months, the customer has the right to cancel the purchase with respect to the delayed part. Studiotec Oy’s liability for delay is limited to a maximum of 0.5% per week of the purchase price of the delayed part, up to a maximum of 5%.

6. Returns

There is no statutory right of return or cancellation in business-to-business sales.
A return is only accepted if separately agreed in writing with Studiotec Oy. Returned products must be unused, in their original packaging, and in saleable condition.

The customer is responsible for return costs unless otherwise agreed.


7. Warranty and Liability for Defects

Warranty is provided according to the manufacturer’s warranty terms. The warranty does not cover defects resulting from normal wear and tear, transport damage, or misuse.

Studiotec Oy is not liable for indirect damages, production losses, or other consequential costs. Liability is limited to refunding the purchase price or replacing the product.
The customer is responsible for backups before sending a product for service. Studiotec Oy is not liable for loss of digital content.

8. Complaints

Any errors or deficiencies must be reported in writing within seven (7) days of receipt. Complaints must include the order number, a description of the defect, and a copy of the invoice or delivery note.

Products may not be returned without written confirmation from Studiotec Oy.
Disputes shall primarily be settled through negotiations, and secondarily in the District Court of Helsinki.

9. Limitation of Liability

Studiotec Oy’s liability is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the product to which the damage relates.
The company is not liable for indirect damages such as production losses, termination of contracts, or cover purchases.

Liability under the Finnish Product Liability Act (694/1990) for personal injury and property damage remains unaffected.


10. Recycling

Studiotec Oy accepts waste electrical and electronic equipment in accordance with statutory producer responsibility (Act on Producer Responsibility for Certain Products 646/2011).

11. Service

The service process is initiated by filling in the service form on Studiotec Oy’s website at shop.studiotec.fi/fi-fi/huolto. Studiotec Oy will contact the customer after receiving the form to agree on further actions.
The customer must send the product properly packed and insured for transport.
The customer is responsible for backing up data, software, and settings before sending the device for service. Studiotec Oy is not liable for data loss during service.

Costs incurred in connection with the service (e.g. transport and handling costs, spare parts) are borne by the customer unless otherwise agreed.


12. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights of Studiotec Oy or its licensors (trademarks, trade names, patents, designs, drawings, and plans) remain the property of their owners.

The customer may not use, distribute, license, disclose, or register them without the prior written consent of Studiotec Oy.


13. Insolvency

Studiotec Oy has the right to immediately terminate all outstanding agreements if the customer is declared bankrupt, enters corporate restructuring, is placed into liquidation, or makes a composition arrangement with creditors.

In such cases, all delivered products and services become immediately due and payable.
